Jay Hudson Audio Services was a key figure at The Hit Shack Recording Studio in Austin, Texas, from 1989 to 2005. Working closely with Dave McNair and other talented collaborators, he helped build a creative analog hub where many memorable Texas records were made.

Today, Jay maintains a private studio in Phoenix, AZ. While semi-retired from commercial engineering, he remains active in music — focusing on his extensive catalog of original songs. He shares his recordings and videos on his YouTube channel.
